Arshad Warsi Confirms Welcome 3: Star-studded Cast Includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal

After much speculation, Arshad Warsi has officially confirmed that Welcome 3 is indeed in the works. In an interview with HT City, he shared exciting details about the film, stating, "The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film which I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, and many others."
Reflecting on the changing landscape of cinema, Warsi expressed his enthusiasm for being a part of such grand productions. He emphasized the importance of job satisfaction and mentioned, "These are films that will pay me handsomely. The ones I was offered didn't quite excite me, but the one I am doing is Welcome 3."
When asked about his absence from Jolly LLB 2, the actor speculated, "I have no idea. I think the makers wanted to upscale the film. I even suggested to director Subhash Kapoor that he should do it with Akshay. With me, you would see 500 people in a courtroom, but with Akshay, it would be 5000. Somewhere along the line, the production team realized, 'Let's get a bigger star.' However, people enjoyed seeing me, so I'm back. Audiences will enjoy seeing me and Akshay together."
Aside from Welcome 3, Arshad Warsi was recently seen in the psychological mystery thriller series Asur 2, which premiered on June 1. He also has the third installment of Jolly LLB alongside Akshay Kumar in his upcoming projects.
