Lee Paras, a talented 19-year-old designer, has captured the spotlight with his remarkable creation that combines trash and the enchanting world of the Little Mermaid.

Paras emerged as the grand prize winner in a prestigious trash-to-fashion competition organized by a private company. Drawing inspiration from the beloved Little Mermaid movie, he dedicated five days to meticulously crafting a dress entirely out of discarded materials.

Explaining the concept behind his design, Paras said, "The movie Little Mermaid portrays the beauty of sea life, which unfortunately falls victim to pollution and human cruelty. To convey this message, I incorporated a boat on top of the dress, serving as a reminder that we hold the responsibility to preserve the splendor of the sea."

The realization of Paras' vision came to life with the help of Kat Phischeur, a renowned drag queen from Cebu and the founder of the highly acclaimed Haus of Rena1ssance. Together, they brought forth a captivating fusion of creativity and advocacy.
