Vanshika Chosen as India's Representative at G20 Fashion Event in Ladakh
Vanshika Parmar has been selected as the country's representative for the G20 Fashion Event taking place in Ladakh.

Vanshika Parmar, a resident of Nadaun in Hamirpur district, has been chosen to represent India at the prestigious Ladakh International Fashion Runway, held as part of the G20 summit. The 20-year-old emerged victorious in the Miss Earth India 2022 pageant, securing her spot in the event. Expressing her joy at the selection, Parmar shared, "I am thrilled to announce that, as the winner of Miss Earth India 2022, I have been designated as India's representative at this remarkable event, which commemorates India's G20 presidency."
She further explained, "This historic occasion focuses on addressing the climate crisis through sustainable fashion and promoting eco-tourism in Ladakh. It also serves as a platform to showcase India's local craftsmanship and rich cultural heritage. Additionally, this event is set to create a Guinness World Record for hosting the highest elevation fashion ramp at an astonishing altitude of 19,022 feet on Umling La."
Vanshika revealed that a documentary capturing the essence of the event will be screened at prestigious film festivals such as Cannes and Venice. The event will feature the participation of twenty-six beauty pageant queens from G20 countries and G20 guest countries, who have previously made their mark on platforms like Miss Universe, Miss Earth, and Miss World.
