According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the preliminary visitation numbers for 2022 reveal a thriving tourist scene in Las Vegas. Many visitors are discovering the city for the first time, signaling a renewed interest in the destination.

During an interview with 8 News Now, Adrian Rizzi and Rebecca Abraham, Canadian tourists on a brief trip, expressed their excitement about exploring Las Vegas. The couple selected the Bellagio as their accommodation, attracted by its offerings and the opportunity to catch a show by Carrot Top and visit the Grand Canyon.

In 2022, Canadians constituted the second largest group of foreign travelers visiting Las Vegas. Their eagerness to escape to a warmer climate and indulge in the city's culinary delights and iconic hotels was evident in their comments.

After a significant decline in international travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Las Vegas has experienced a remarkable rebound. The LVCVA reported an impressive figure of 3.4 million foreign trips in the past year, signaling a strong resurgence in international tourism.

As the official start of summer approaches, visitors from around the world, including Sandi from Europe, are eager to relish the desert landscapes and outdoor activities that Las Vegas offers.

The LVCVA highlighted that over 60% of the annual international visitors to Las Vegas originate from Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom, solidifying their importance in sustaining the city's tourism industry.
