Every year, countless ambitious Indians strive to become doctors by taking on the challenging NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam. Among them, only a select few manage to achieve success, and Swayam Shakti Tripathy's journey is a truly inspiring one.
Hailing from Odisha, Swayam Shakti Tripathy achieved an outstanding all-India rank (AIR) 8 with a remarkable 99.9 percentile score in the 2023 NEET (UG) result.
Swayam completed his schooling at SAI International School, where his father is a professor of electrical engineering at the Odisha University of Technology and Research, and his mother is a homemaker.
Determined to crack the NEET exam, Swayam dedicated 12 to 13 hours of rigorous daily study. He started his NEET UG coaching during class 11 and relied on NCERT textbooks and other course materials for his preparation.
With unwavering determination, Swayam was confident about his success in the NEET exam, thanks to his two years of hard work. He attributes his achievement not only to his own dedication but also to the immense support and encouragement he received from his family and school instructors. In class 12, he had already secured an impressive 98.6%.
Swayam also shared valuable advice for aspiring NEET candidates, emphasizing the importance of time management, strategic planning, and, if possible, seeking professional tutoring.
With his sights set on the future, Swayam dreams of pursuing MBBS and post-graduate degrees in surgery at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His success story stands as an inspiration for aspiring medical students across the country.
