Meta's text-based app, Threads, is introducing a new update that enables users to easily access their liked posts. The company recently concluded testing of this feature on the Android beta version, and it is now accessible to all users.

To view liked posts, users can navigate to Settings > Your Likes, which can be found on the profile page. In contrast, on platforms like Twitter (now X), liked posts are typically accessed through a distinct "Likes" tab within the user's profile.

In addition to the liked posts feature, Meta has also introduced a media upload quality option. This new option, located at Settings > Account > Media quality, allows users to upload images and videos in higher quality.

Furthermore, Threads now offers enhanced functionality for organizing the following list. Users can sort their following list based on the criteria of 'Latest first' or 'Earlier first.' To access this feature, go to your profile, select the followers facepile below your bio, and then navigate to the 'Following' tab.

Although these updates enhance the Threads app's user experience, Mark Zuckerberg hinted at the imminent arrival of more highly requested features, such as post search and a web version, in the coming weeks.

Threads, which was launched just last month, experienced an impressive start, attracting 100 million users within its first five days. However, data from various analytics firms suggests a decline in the app's usage over time.
